Rallye Day
Thursday, June 28th
Hood River and Wasco County
The Columbia River Gorge is one of the most beautiful regions in a beautiful state. This year’s Rallye will be in the “Question and Answer” format. On Thursday, the Rallye will begin in the small Columbia River Gorge town of Mosier (~10 miles East of Hood River on Highway 84). It is roughly 75 miles in length. Twisty roads, stunning views of the Columbia River, a world-renowned historical highway, cherry orchards and wheat fields await participants. The Rallye will test your observation skills but we are not TRYING to get you lost (it may still happen). The event is designed to provide you with an opportunity to explore a little-known portion of the Columbia River Gorge and adjacent Wasco Country, while providing a fun and challenging learning experience for all who participate.
Drivers meeting at 8:45 AM. First car out at 9:00 AM.
Note that Start Times for the Rallye will be staggered by the Rallye master. Start Time is when driver and navigator need to be in their car and at Mosier with a full tank of gas and clear mind!
You are on your own for lunch. We will provide some suggestions with our Rallye instructions.
Also, we will put together 2-3 self-guided tours of the area that people can take on their own. Descriptions of those will be available at the Hospitality room.
